How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the sage green read as very green on a warm white wall?

The green sits in muted, hazy layers rather than a solid block, so on a warm white or chalky off-white wall it reads as a soft sage rather than a strong colour. It pairs well with oak, linen and cream ceramics, and won't fight warm neutrals in the rest of the room.

Is it big enough to work above a king-size bed on its own?

In the large or statement size, yes — the portrait format and soft horizontal banding give it enough presence to anchor a king-size headboard solo. In smaller sizes, consider pairing it with a second quiet piece, or centring it above a bedside console instead.

Does it work in a room with wood-tone furniture, or is it too warm?

It's built for warm woods. The warm brown foreground band and cream sky sit comfortably with oak, ash, walnut and pale pine. The muted sage keeps things fresh, so the overall pairing feels grounded rather than heavy, even in rooms with several wood tones.
