    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Will the dark background look heavy in a small room?

    Less than you'd think. The off-white border at the foot of the poster gives the eye a breather, and the centred cat keeps the composition focused rather than oppressive. In a small study or hallway it actually makes the wall feel deeper and cosier, especially with warm lamplight.

    Does the red in the roses lean orange or true red?

    It's a deep, slightly warm red — more brick and tomato than pillar-box or pink. It sits comfortably alongside terracotta, oxblood, warm browns and deep greens, but can clash with cool pinks or cold blue-reds, so worth checking your existing palette before pairing.

    Is the cat life-sized, or quite small in the composition?

    The cat takes up most of the centre of the image, roughly two-thirds of the height, with botanical pattern filling the space around it. So at a medium size on the wall, the cat reads as roughly head-and-shoulders scale rather than tiny — it's clearly the subject, not a hidden detail.
