I was very happy with the quality of the paper the prints were on

I was very happy with the quality of the paper the prints were on. Colors were nice & bright. The only aspect that I was not happy with, was that prints did not have an edge around them. I bought a 11x14 cause mat's opening was that size & I basically had to tape it to the mat. I've never encountered this. You should do better in this area.

What is an eclectic interior?

An eclectic interior blends elements from different eras, cultures and design styles into one personalized, cohesive room. Instead of committing to a single look, it mixes vintage with modern, layers pattern and texture, and leans on bold colour and statement pieces. The key is careful curation: the mix should feel deliberate and unpredictable rather than random, which is why wall art often becomes the piece that ties everything together.

How do I choose wall art for an eclectic room?

Pick prints that share a thread with the rest of the room, even if the styles differ. Pull one or two colours from your sofa, rug or cushions and repeat them in the art, then let the subject matter and era vary freely. Mixing a graphic, pattern-driven piece with something softer keeps a wall interesting. Framed and unframed formats can be combined for a collected-over-time look.

What are common eclectic decor mistakes?

The most frequent mistake is mixing without a unifying element, so the room reads as clutter rather than curation. Others include using too many competing focal points, ignoring scale so small prints float on large walls, and skipping neutral breathing space between bold patterns. Repeating a limited colour palette across your art and textiles, and letting one statement piece lead per wall, keeps an eclectic scheme intentional.

What is the 3-5-7 rule in decorating?

The 3-5-7 rule suggests grouping objects in odd numbers, since three, five or seven items read as more dynamic and natural than even pairs. It applies neatly to wall art: hang three prints in a row, or build a five- or seven-piece gallery wall mixing sizes and orientations. For eclectic rooms, vary the subjects and frame finishes within the group but keep spacing consistent so the arrangement still feels considered.
