    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Funktioniert es in einer Küche, in der schon Farbe drin ist?

    Ja, innerhalb eines Rahmens. Schwarze Tinte auf Creme bleibt ruhig neben einer starken Farbe wie tiefgrünen Unterschränken oder einem Senfgelb-Spritzschutz, weil sie keine zweite Farbe mitbringt, die das Auge mitbewerten muss. Schwierig wird es in einem Raum mit schon drei oder vier Farben, weil die feine Schraffur dann eher visuelles Rauschen als Ruhepunkt wird.

    Welche Größe sollte ich für über einem Sideboard wählen?

    Richte dich ungefähr nach der halben bis zwei Dritteln der Breite des Sideboards. Bei einem 120-cm-Sideboard wären das also 60 bis 70 cm, aufgehängt so, dass die Unterkante eine Handbreit über der Oberkante sitzt. Unter 50 cm lesen sich die Schraffuren aus dem Esszimmer heraus nicht mehr klar als Austern, und genau das nimmt der Zeichnung ihren Effekt.

    Wirkt der cremefarbene Hintergrund an weißen Wänden gelblich?

    An kühlem, strahlendem Weiß wirkt er warm, eher wie altes Papier als gelb. Die meisten mögen diesen Kontrast, weil die Wand dadurch nicht klinisch aussieht. Sind deine Wände eher warmes Off-White oder Kitt, verschwindet der Grund fast und die Tuschelinie übernimmt die ganze Wirkung, was die ruhigere Variante ist.
