    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Verträgt sich der cremefarbene Hintergrund mit einer rein weißen Küchenwand?

    Nein, aber er wird sichtbar. Auf strahlendem Weiß wirkt der cremefarbene Grund wie ein warmes Quadrat, was eine klinische Küche für die meisten weicher macht. Auf gebrochenem Weiß, Stein oder hellem Greige verschwindet der Grund fast, und die schwarze Linie wirkt, als wäre sie direkt auf die Wand gezeichnet. Beides funktioniert. Wähle weiße Farbe, wenn das Quadrat als Objekt gelesen werden soll, wärmere Farbe, wenn nur die Zeichnung sichtbar sein soll.

    Welche Größe passt neben einen Frühstückstisch?

    Halte es klein. Zwischen 30 und 40 cm im Quadrat passt bequem neben einen Tisch für zwei oder vier und lässt die Zeichnung vom Sitzplatz aus gut lesbar, ohne quer durch den Raum zu rufen. Geh nur größer, wenn die Wand breit und leer ist, denn das einzelne Objekt auf freiem Grund wirkt über 50 cm schnell verloren. An einer schmalen Stirnwand sind 30 cm mit einer Handbreit freier Wand auf jeder Seite genau richtig.

    Passt es eher in ein Esszimmer als in eine Küche?

    Ja, solange der Raum nicht förmlich ist. Der Sketch hat das Gefühl einer Bistro-Speisekarte, also passt er besser zu einem Esszimmer mit Eichentisch, Bugholzstühlen und schlichten Wänden als zu einem mit Kronleuchter und schweren Vorhängen. Häng es leicht aus der Mitte, Richtung Tür oder Durchreiche, statt genau mittig über ein Sideboard, wo normalerweise ein größeres Stück hingehört.
