    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Wirkt das wie ein Deutsch Kurzhaar oder einfach nur wie ein generischer Hund?

    Die lange Schnauze, die hängenden Ohren und die gesprenkelte Brust sind typische Merkmale des Deutsch Kurzhaar, sodass Besitzer die Rasse meist sofort erkennen. Es ist allerdings ein stilisiertes Folk-Porträt und keine Rassestudie, deshalb sind die Merkmale in flache Formen vereinfacht. Sowohl Leber-weiß- als auch Schwarz-weiß-Halter erkennen sich darin meist wieder.

    Wirkt Senf und Creme an einer dunklen Wand stumpf?

    Nein – eher im Gegenteil. Vor tiefgrüner, lehmfarbener oder anthrazitfarbener Wand hebt sich der cremefarbene Hintergrund ab und das Senf wirkt wärmer, während das rote Halsband der hellste Punkt bleibt. Bei sehr dunklen Wänden sorgt ein schmaler schwarzer Rahmen dafür, dass die Kanten sauber bleiben, statt dass das Creme zu frei wirkt.

    Ist ein quadratisches Bild schwer über Möbeln aufzuhängen?

    Überhaupt nicht, es braucht nur die richtige Breite. Über Konsole, Kommode oder Sideboard solltest du ungefähr zwei Drittel der Möbelbreite wählen und rund 15-20 cm Abstand zwischen Oberkante des Möbels und Unterkante des Bildes lassen. An einer leeren Flurwand am besten auf Augenhöhe zentrieren und den Bereich darum frei halten.
