    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Ist das Rot in einem kleinen Flur zu stark?

    Nicht, wenn die Wand dahinter hell ist. Das Rot sitzt in schmalen Blöcken auf einem kamelfarbenen Grund, sodass es vom Türrahmen aus eher wie Streifen als wie eine geschlossene Farbfläche wirkt. Probleme entstehen erst, wenn der Flur in Braun, Beige oder warmem Ton gestrichen ist, weil dann der Grund verschwindet und das Rot zu schweben scheint. Off-White oder Greige halten es im Gleichgewicht.

    Wie hoch muss die Wand sein?

    In der großen Ausführung ist das Stück ungefähr doppelt so hoch wie breit, also solltest du mindestens 1,2 m freie Höhe mit etwa 20 cm Abstand nach oben und unten einplanen. Eine Standarddecke mit 2,4 m bietet dafür reichlich Platz. Die Breite ist weniger wichtig, eine 50-cm-Wand reicht aus, deshalb passt es gut in die Lücke neben einer Treppe oder zwischen zwei Fenstern.

    Passt es in einen Raum, der schon Bücherregale hat?

    Es funktioniert besser dort, wo keine sind. Neben echten Regalen wird es zum Bild von dem, was daneben steht, und verliert seinen Zweck. Häng es in den Flur, auf den Treppenabsatz oder ins Arbeitszimmer mit schlichtem Schreibtisch und geschlossenem Stauraum, dann ersetzt es die Bibliothek, ohne noch ein Möbelstück hinzuzufügen. Ein Krug mit roten Blumen in der Nähe reicht als Gesellschaft.
