    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Macht der dunkelgrüne Hintergrund meinen Raum kleiner?
    Meistens nicht. Weil der Hintergrund dunkel ist und die Kraniche hell sind, wandert der Blick direkt zu den Vögeln statt zu den Bildrändern. An einer hellen Wand wirkt es wie ein geschlossener, tiefer Farbkörper, was sogar mehr Tiefe schafft. An einer dunklen Wand fügt es sich weich ein und wirkt wie Teil der Wandgestaltung.

    Wirkt das Gold wirklich metallisch, oder ist es gedruckt?
    Es ist Farbdruck statt echter Metallfolie, also spiegelt es das Licht nicht wie Vergoldung. Stattdessen bekommst du einen warmen Goldton, der sich je nach Licht im Raum verändert. Bei sanftem Lampenlicht leuchtet er; bei hellem Tageslicht wirkt er eher wie warmes Sand- und Honiggelb.

    Kann ich das in einem Esszimmer aufhängen, ohne dass es beim Essen dominiert?
    Ja, und dafür ist es sogar gut geeignet.
