    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Stoßen Rosa und Orange in einem grauen Schlafzimmer aneinander?

    Nein, Grau ist genau der beste Hintergrund dafür. Der größte Teil des Bildes ist ein schieferblaues Grau, sodass eine graue Wand das aufgreift und Rosa und Orange darin als warme Elemente sitzen. Mittelgrau oder blau-graue Farbe passen am besten. Ein sehr warmes Greige mit Gelbanteil nimmt dem Rosa die Leuchtkraft, also lieber eine kühle Wandfarbe wählen.

    Wie breit sollte das Bild über einem Kingsize-Bett sein?

    Ein britisches King-Kopfteil ist etwa 150 cm breit, also solltest du ein Kunstwerk zwischen 100 und 130 cm Breite wählen, das 15 bis 25 cm über dem Kopfteil hängt. So sitzt die Sonne ungefähr über der Matratzenmitte. Unter 90 cm wirkt das Raster gedrängt und die Sonne zu klein, und die Wand drumherum fühlt sich zu leer an.

    Wirkt das Raster aus der Ferne nicht zu unruhig?

    Aus zwei oder drei Metern Abstand wird das Raster zu einem Fenster-Effekt und der Blick geht zur Sonne und zum Horizont. Aus der Nähe siehst du die einzelnen Felder und Pinselstriche. Es liegt irgendwo zwischen ruhiger Landschaft und Muster, also halte die Wand darum frei und vermeide gestreifte oder karierte Bettwäsche darunter, dann wirkt es ruhig.
