    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Wird das Dunkelgrün vom anderen Ende eines Flurs aus schwarz wirken?

    Aus ein paar Metern Entfernung werden die Bäume dunkler, und auf einem nach Norden ausgerichteten Treppenabsatz wirken sie fast anthrazitfarben. Genau das macht seinen Reiz aus, denn der leinenfarbene Grund bleibt hell und die Stämme heben sich klar ab. Wenn das Grün erhalten bleiben soll, wähle eine helle Wand oder eine in Reichweite liegende Fensterquelle und vermeide eine dunkle Wandfarbe dahinter.

    Wirkt es nach Januar wie Weihnachtsdeko?

    Nein, denn es hat kein Rot, kein Glitzer und keinen Schmuck. Das Schnee-Band und die Fichten wirken wie ein schlichtes Winterwäldchen, eher wie eine nordische Landschaft als eine Karte. Die meisten, die es für Dezember kaufen, lassen es das ganze Jahr hängen, und im Sommer lassen das kühle Weiß und das Dunkelgrün einen Flur ein paar Grad frischer wirken.

    Wie schmale darf die Wand dafür sein?

    In der großen Größe ist es etwa 50cm breit, also trägt eine Wand von 60 bis 70cm es mit einem kleinen Rand links und rechts. Damit gehört es zu den wenigen Bildern, die auf einen Treppenabsatz oder den Streifen zwischen Türrahmen und Ecke passen. Auf allem, was breiter als etwa 120cm ist, wirkt es schnell etwas verloren, also kombiniere es oder hänge es woanders auf.
