    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Wirkt das Blau in einem dunklen Flur grau?
    In einem Flur mit wenig Tageslicht verändert sich das sanfte Blau tatsächlich etwas und kann kühler wirken, eher wie Schiefer, obwohl die roten und rosafarbenen Federn die Wärme erhalten und es nicht flach wirken lassen. Eine warmweiße Lampe darüber bringt den Himmelton zurück. Wenn dein Flur eine Glastür oder ein Fenster am Ende hat, hänge es dorthin, wo dieses Licht landet, dann bleibt das Blau klar blau.

    Kann ich zwei hohe Stücke nebeneinander an einem Treppenabsatz aufhängen?
    Du kannst, aber dieses hier wirkt allein am stärksten. Die zwei Vögel bilden schon ein Paar, also konkurriert ein zweites hohes Kunstwerk an derselben Stelle um dieselbe Wirkung, und der Treppenabsatz wirkt schnell überladen. Wenn du mehr an der Wand möchtest, ergänze seitlich ein viel kleineres, quadratisches Stück in sanftem Rosa oder Off-White und lass den Rest der Wand frei.

    Passt das Rot zu warmen oder cremefarbenen Wänden?
    Ja, Creme und warmes Off-White passen sehr gut dazu, weil das Korallenrosa in den Flügeln die Wärme aufnimmt und das Blau der Wand gibt, was ihr sonst fehlen würde. Zu vermeiden sind Wände in kräftigem Rot, Terrakotta oder tiefem Orange, weil darin die roten Federn untergehen. Salbei oder helles Grau funktionieren ebenfalls, wenn der Raum gutes Tageslicht hat.
