How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will my child still like this when they're seven?

Most do. Because it's a watercolour rather than a branded cartoon, it doesn't date the way licensed character art does. Plenty of parents move it from the nursery into a kids' bedroom or landing wall as the child grows, and it keeps working.

Is the small red of the children's jackets going to clash with a pink nursery?

The red is muted and warm rather than bright, so it sits fine alongside dusty pinks, peach and blush. It will clash with hot or candy pinks. If the room is built around cool bubblegum tones, this isn't the right piece.

Can I hang this at adult eye-level above a sofa, or only in a child's room?

It works above a sofa in a family living room or reading nook, particularly in homes with a softer, more country feel. The watercolour is quiet enough that it reads as a piece of art rather than a nursery decoration, as long as the surrounding room isn't aggressively modern.
