How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the handwritten 'Nice, France' caption part of the print?

Yes — the handwritten caption sits along the bottom of the artwork and prints exactly as shown. It's part of the design, not a separate label, so you can't have it removed or moved. If you'd prefer the cityscape without lettering, this isn't the right piece for you.

Will the cool blue clash with a warm-toned room?

It can. The blue is deep and saturated, so against terracotta, mustard or warm reds it will read as a contrast rather than a match. It sits most happily against off-white, pale plaster, soft grey or pale oak — anywhere blue-and-white china would already feel at home.

Does the composition pull to one side?

Slightly — the palm tree anchors the left, the bell towers sit upper right, and the eye travels diagonally between them. It hangs well centred above a console, but you can also use that diagonal pull to balance an off-centre piece of furniture below.
