How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the artwork actually rude or just cheeky?

It's cheeky, not rude. The cat isn't doing anything with the glass — he's just sitting next to it, watching. The humour is in the look on his face and the situation, so it reads as warm rather than crude. Comfortable in a family kitchen or dining room.

Will the dusty pink lower half clash with a warm wood kitchen?

It tends to work well. The pink is muted and earthy rather than bright, so it sits comfortably with oak, walnut and warm cream walls. If your kitchen leans cool grey or stainless, the warmth will feel out of place — better suited to warmer rooms.

Is it large enough to hold a wall on its own?

At medium size, yes — above a sideboard, wine rack or small console, hung at eye level, it carries the wall without help. If you've got a large empty wall above a long dining sideboard, size up rather than trying to pair it with other art.
