How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the strong colour clash with a neutral living room?

It's designed to. The point of this print is to give a beige or off-white room a clear focal point. The deep green and warm coral sit happily next to walnut, tan leather and stoneware, and the soft pink keeps the whole thing from feeling shouty. Keep the rest of the wall empty and it settles in.

Does it work above a sofa or is it better above a console?

Both work, but the proportions favour a low sideboard, console or mid-century cabinet — the portrait shape sits well above a horizontal piece of furniture. Above a sofa it still works at medium size, just leave generous breathing room either side and don't add cushions in competing colours.

Is the style flat graphic or painterly?

Flat and graphic. Think cut-paper collage and mid-century travel poster rather than brushwork or watercolour. Shapes are clean-edged, colours are solid blocks, and there's no fine detail or texture. If you're after something painterly or atmospheric, this isn't the right pick.
