How do I frame an art print?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the pink sky look too sweet in a grown-up living room?

The pink is balanced by deep greens, a purple peak and warm orange foliage, so it reads bold rather than girly. Paired with pale oak, linen and a few terracotta pieces, it lands as cheerful and modern rather than nursery-soft.

Is this better in portrait above a sofa or a bed?

Both work. Above a sofa the lake sits at sightline when seated, which is ideal. Above a bed, the pink sky becomes the top half of the composition and frames the headboard nicely. We'd lean towards bedroom if your living room is already colour-rich.

How busy is the composition up close?

Busy in the foreground — wildflowers, leaves and a winding path — and calmer towards the lake and mountains. From across the room it reads as one strong scene; up close there's plenty of detail to live with over time.
