How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep greens feel too heavy in a small room?

Not in most cases. The greens are layered with blue shadow and lifted by mustard and pale sky, so it reads as movement rather than a solid block of colour. In a small room, hang it on a wall with warm cream or soft plaster paint and keep nearby surfaces simple — it will add depth without closing the space in.

Does this work in a modern interior, or only traditional ones?

It bridges both. The subject and brushwork lean traditional, but the loose, almost abstract handling of the field gives it real bite in a modern room. Pair it with linen, oak, dark wood or stoneware and it sits comfortably; place it against very clinical white minimalism and it will dominate.

What size should I go for above a sofa or sideboard?

Aim for large. The painterly surface and depth of field need room to breathe — too small and the brushwork compresses. Above a standard three-seat sofa or console, allow at least 70 cm of wall width and hang at eye level so the foreground cabbages and far sky both read clearly from a normal viewing distance.
