How do I frame an art print?

  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will the coral pink and deep blue clash with a warm oak kitchen?

No — warm oak is exactly the timber this print was made for. The coral picks up the orange tones in oak and the deep blue gives the eye somewhere to rest. It works less well next to cool grey-washed or whitewashed timbers, which fight the warmth.

Is the lettering at the top and bottom part of the print?

Yes. La Dolce Vita sits in script across the top and il dolce far niente runs along the bottom, both inside a hand-drawn dashed border. They're part of the artwork itself, not an overlay — so the print reads as a travel-style poster rather than a plain still life.

Will it look too busy above a small dining table?

In medium size it's the right amount of busy — there's enough cream around the border to give the eye room to breathe. Go large only if your wall is at least 1.5 metres wide and the table seats four or more. Above a two-seater, medium is the sweet spot.
