About This Art

How do I frame an art print?

  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Is the 'Kew Gardens' caption part of the print, or can I get it without the text?

The caption — Kew Gardens, the Underground roundel and the District Line / TW9 3AB line — is a designed part of the poster and stays as shown. It's what gives it that exhibition-poster feel rather than a plain botanical scene.

Will the soft greens feel washed out on a white wall?

No — the cream border around the image gives the greens something to push against, so they read clearly even on bright white walls. If your wall is a cooler bluish-white, an oak frame will warm everything up nicely.

Is the composition centred, or does the eye pull to one side?

The eye pulls slightly right, towards the tall arched window and the bright floor. It's worth bearing in mind if you're hanging it off-centre above a sideboard — give it a touch more breathing room on the right than the left.
