How do I frame an art print?

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the deep green background too heavy for a small room?

Not usually. The green grounds the piece but the scattered pale blooms and white space inside the meadow keep it from feeling dense. In a small room, hang it on a lighter wall and keep nearby textiles plain — the print stays lively without closing the space in.

Does the exhibition text take over the image?

No. The 'Gustav Klimt' lettering and exhibition lines sit quietly at the bottom in soft grey, well below the meadow. From across the room you read the flowers first; up close the type adds a museum-poster feel without competing for attention.

Will it clash with a patterned rug or sofa?

It can. The print is busy on its own, so a heavily patterned rug or floral sofa in the same eye-line will fight it. It works best above plain upholstery, with one quiet patterned piece elsewhere in the room — a striped cushion or a simple rug is plenty.
