How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will this be too busy for a small kitchen?

It is a busy piece, but it works in small kitchens if the rest of the room stays calm. Keep the splashback plain, worktops clear and cabinetry in one solid painted colour. The print then acts as the single source of pattern and colour, which actually makes a small kitchen feel bigger and more considered.

Does it work outside a kitchen?

Yes. It looks just as at home in a dining room above a painted console or sideboard, or in a sunny breakfast nook. It is less suited to bedrooms or quiet hallways because the colour and pattern bring real energy, which can feel restless in rooms meant for winding down.

What wall colour suits it best?

Warm off-white, chalky cream and soft plaster pink all let the deep red bowl, mustard pot and blue sea sing. It also looks great on a painted feature wall in soft sage or warm terracotta. Avoid cool grey walls and stark bright white, which fight the warmth in the painting.
