How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the soft palette feel too washed out on a cream wall?

On very pale walls the contrast does drop, so the print reads gentler from across the room. If you want more definition, an oak or black frame gives it a soft edge and helps it sit, especially in larger sizes or in rooms with lots of natural light.

Is the small dog clearly visible in the print?

Yes, the small pale dog sits in the lower left corner of the composition, painted in loose brushwork. It reads clearly up close and at normal viewing distance, though from across a large room the figure of the girl is what carries the piece.

Does this work above a bed, or is it better elsewhere?

It works above a bed in a calm, traditional bedroom — the vertical format and quiet palette suit that wall. It also works above a console in a hallway or behind a reading chair. Avoid placing it in a very modern, high-contrast room where it'll feel out of step.
