How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the palette as muted as it looks on screen?

Yes — the dominant tones are sage, olive and warm bronze with dusty coral accents. It's deliberately grown-up rather than candy-bright, and reads richer in warm lamplight than in cool daylight.

Will the dense composition feel overwhelming on a small wall?

In a small wall it can dominate, which is sometimes the point. If your wall is narrow (under about 80cm) or you want something that recedes, a smaller botanical line study will serve you better — this one is built to be looked at.

Does it actually need to be hung large?

Ideally yes. The feathers, vines and flower stamens carry a lot of fine detail, and at small sizes that detail compresses into noise. Large lets the hummingbird sit as a clear focal subject from across the room.
