How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Does the print include the 'Modern Gallery of Art' text at the bottom?

Yes. The text 'THE KITCHEN OBJECTS' and 'MODERN GALLERY OF ART - JUN 20' sits below the drawings in a small, simple typeface. It's part of the design and reads as an exhibition poster rather than a slogan.

Will the small colour blocks read clearly at smaller sizes?

Yes — the pink, green, orange, teal and yellow shapes are simple and bold enough to hold up at medium sizes. At very small sizes the line work still reads well, but the colours become accents rather than the main event.

Does this work in a kitchen with strong colour already, or only in white rooms?

It looks best with quiet backgrounds — white, off-white or pale wood — because of the bright white surround in the artwork. In a kitchen with strong wall colour or busy tiles, it can feel like it's fighting for space.
