How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep green wall in the background clash with a green-painted room?

It can, if the greens fight each other. The background green here is muted and dusty rather than fresh, so it sits well with deep forest, olive or sage walls. On a brighter mint or emerald wall it'll feel busy — better on cream, off-white, warm grey, oak panelling or a darker green than the print.

Is the subject too pub-specific for a normal living room?

Less than you'd think. The figures are loose enough that it reads as a group of people rather than a specific bar scene, so it works in living rooms and studies as much as in a home bar. If you want it clearly clubby, lean into leather, brass and dark wood. If not, soften it with linen and pale walls.

Does it work better portrait on a narrow wall or above wide furniture?

It's a portrait-format piece, so it sits best on a taller, narrower wall — between two windows, on the wall you pass on the way into a room, or above a slim console. Above a wide sofa it can feel undersized unless you go up to the large or statement tier.
