About This Art

Not because it's terracotta orange, but because it refuses to fade back. The Colosseum sits behind a tangle of orange branches, and the whole thing carries the warmth of a Roman afternoon without shouting about it.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the word 'Rome' actually on the print?

Yes. 'Rome' is hand-lettered in warm terracotta script across the lower portion of the image, just below the Colosseum and the orange branches. It reads clearly at normal hanging distance and doubles as the artwork's title cue.

Will the soft cream background look washed out on a white wall?

It holds up well on warm off-white and cream walls because the deep green leaves and terracotta oranges do the contrast work. On very bright cool-white walls the edges can feel a little soft — a warm oak or warm brown frame helps it sit properly.

Is the Colosseum the main focus or are the oranges?

It's deliberately balanced. The Colosseum sits in the centre as the architectural anchor, but the orange branches frame it on all four sides and carry most of the colour. Read from across the room you see the building; up close, the fruit takes over.
