How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the small figures around the pool make the print feel busy on a quiet wall?

Not really. The figures are small and loosely painted, and the top two-thirds of the image is open sky blue. From normal viewing distance the eye reads it as a calm scene with gentle movement, not a crowded composition, so it holds a quiet wall well.

Does the sky blue lean cool enough to clash with warm pink walls?

The blue is a soft, slightly dusty sky tone rather than a sharp cool blue, and it sits next to warm pink terraces in the image itself. That means it tends to settle into rooms painted in soft pink, plaster or warm off-white rather than fighting them.

Is this better above a sofa or above a bed?

Both work, but the portrait shape and tall stretch of sky suit a vertical anchor spot — above a low sideboard, console or a bedroom headboard — better than a wide sofa wall. Above a sofa, consider sizing up or pairing it with a second print.
