How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the navy and mustard work in a room with warm white walls?

Yes — warm white is one of the easiest backdrops for this piece. The mustard reads as a softer warm tone against cream walls, and the navy stops the whole thing feeling sweet. Cooler bright-white walls also work but feel sharper. Avoid pale pink or green walls; the mustard tends to clash.

How big does the wall need to be?

Allow roughly 90 cm of clear wall width as a minimum so the symmetry has room to read. It works above a standard console, sideboard or three-seater sofa, and looks best when there's a clear margin on either side rather than being squeezed between other furniture.

Does the composition have a clear top and bottom?

It's portrait orientation and the four-square symmetry is consistent, so it reads correctly the way it's shown — with the pinwheel centre running vertically. The signature and weighting at the lower half help, but the symmetry means a slight misread isn't catastrophic if you hang it confidently.
