How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the yellow very bright or more of a soft mustard?

It reads as a warm mustard yellow rather than a sharp lemon. Against the cream background it feels soft and inviting, closer to a buttery pasta colour, so it works in kitchens with cream, pale wood or soft pink without feeling shouty.

Will the lettering still be readable from across a room?

Yes in a medium size. The deep navy text sits clearly against the cream background, so the phrase reads from a few metres away. If you're hanging it down a long open-plan space, size up rather than down so the joke lands.

Does it work in a kitchen that isn't Italian or country-style?

It does. The shapes are modern and graphic rather than rustic, so it sits happily in clean modern kitchens, mid-century spaces and colourful eclectic rooms. As long as you have some cream, pale wood or soft pink in the room, it slots in.
