How do I frame an art print?

  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the background actually cream, or does it read more grey on screen?

It's a warm sandy cream — closer to oat or undyed linen than grey. Next to bright white tile or paintwork it will look softer and a touch yellower; against warm cream walls it sits almost seamlessly. There is no cool or grey undertone in the paper.

Will this work in a child's bedroom or is it aimed at adults?

It works for both. The hand-drawn sun and the coconut with a paper straw read as friendly and a bit playful for a child's room, while the muted warm palette and loose illustration style keep it grown-up enough for a main bedroom, bathroom or kitchen.

Is there enough going on for a larger wall, or is it better kept small?

It's a quiet composition with lots of empty cream around the subjects, so it carries best at small to medium sizes where that breathing space feels intentional. On a very large wall it can feel a bit lost — pair it with one or two companion prints instead.
