How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the bright orange curtain clash with a warm-toned room?

The orange is bold but it only takes up one side of the picture, with plenty of soft off-white and sky blue around it. In a room with terracotta, rust or warm wood it sits in happily. Against a cool grey or icy blue scheme it will feel louder — which can be the point, but worth knowing.

Is the cat the main focus, or are the flowers?

The black cat is the clear focal point — it's the darkest shape and sits low and central on the sill. The flowers and rooftops frame it but don't compete. If you're buying this because you love cats, the cat very much earns top billing.

Does this work in a small room, or will it feel too busy?

It works fine in a small room as long as you give it a clear wall of its own. The composition is busy in places but the off-white background keeps it feeling airy. Avoid hanging it next to other bold prints or patterned wallpaper — let it be the one loud thing.
