About This Art

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the print have a lot of detail up close, or is it mostly flat shapes?

It's a mix. The figures and the mustard sun read as flat shapes from across the room, but step closer and you see the loose white line work inside the dresses and the brush-drawn leaves around them. It rewards both viewing distances.

Will the terracotta and navy clash with a warm grey sofa?

Warm grey is fine — it has enough brown in it to sit happily next to terracotta. Cool, blue-leaning greys are the trickier match. If your sofa reads more taupe or mushroom than slate, you're in good shape.

Is the composition balanced left to right, or does the eye pull one way?

The terracotta figure on the left carries slightly more visual weight thanks to the warmer dress and the mustard sun behind her head. Centre the print on the wall rather than centring it on furniture, and it sits well.
