How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep brown background feel too dark on a small kitchen wall?

It reads darker in thumbnails than on the wall. The cream and gold details lift it considerably, and against a soft off-white or sage painted wall it adds depth rather than heaviness. If your kitchen is very small, a medium size between two windows or above a sideboard tends to work better than a large piece on a single short wall.

Does the small text and detail still read from across the room?

The overall composition (the bowls, lamps and vases arranged symmetrically) reads clearly from a distance. The small captions and fine ornament are designed to reward a closer look while you're standing at the worktop or sitting at the table, so it suits walls people pass and pause at rather than far-end feature walls.

Will it suit a modern kitchen, or only traditional ones?

It leans traditional, grandmillennial and English country. It can work in a transitional kitchen with painted cabinets, butcher-block worktops and brass handles, but in a sharp modern kitchen of grey cabinets, chrome and high-gloss surfaces the warm brown and cream tend to sit at odds rather than soften the room.
