How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Is the dark background going to feel heavy in a small room?

The cream border and exhibition lettering give the eye somewhere to rest, so it carries less visual weight than a full dark-edged print. In a small study or hallway it actually pulls the space inward in a cosy way, especially under warm lamplight rather than cool overheads.

Does the poster text read as clearly decorative, or will it look like a real event flyer?

It's styled as a vintage museum poster — the South Kensington and admission lines are part of the design, not a current event. Most people read it straight away as a tongue-in-cheek nod to old exhibition posters rather than mistake it for a leaflet.

Will this clash with existing florals or patterned wallpaper?
