    'Too safe,' said nobody standing in front of mustard yellow. Hilma af Klint painted this in 1907, decades before abstract art was supposedly invented, and it still throws the room forward. Put it up and the walls stop being background. Quiet rooms get a centre. Beige rooms get a reason to be there.     Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Is the lilac background actually pink or grey?

    It reads as a soft lilac-pink — warmer than grey, cooler than blush. On a warm off-white wall it leans pink; on a cool grey wall it leans lavender. Worth holding a sample swatch up against your wall colour before committing to a size.

    Will the mustard yellow clash with a warm beige room?

    Usually no — the yellow sits in the same warm family as oat, camel and clay, so it deepens a beige room rather than fighting it. It clashes more often with cool greys and icy blues, where the warm background can feel out of step.

    Does the painting include the Roman numerals and the word at the bottom?

    Yes — the original painting includes the numerals I, II and III inside the yellow forms and a handwritten word along the lower edge. They're part of af Klint's symbolic language and are preserved in the print.
