    About This Art

Rooms go quieter when warm cream is this sure of itself. The Tokyo Tower stands tall against a soft blue sky, with Mount Fuji and a stylised city skyline grounding the scene in warm browns and black.

Hang it and the room picks up a clear point of focus. The bold typography reads from across the room, and the warm cream background keeps things calm rather than shouty.

It works above a desk in a study, in a hallway that needs a bit of personality, or on a feature wall in a teenager's room. Eye level is fine; slightly above a console works too.

Pair it with oak or walnut furniture, black metal fittings, linen cushions, and stoneware. A black frame keeps the graphic edges sharp.

Avoid hanging it next to busy florals or anything in clashing pinks and pastels — let the strong type do the talking. Printed on premium fine-art paper.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the print include the Japanese characters at the top?

Yes. The Japanese characters reading sightseeing sit above the word TOKYO and are part of the design. They are not a separate layer and cannot be removed. If you want a cleaner look without text, this probably is not the right print for you.

Will the cream background match an off-white wall?

The background is a warm cream rather than a pure white, so it sits comfortably against off-white, magnolia, and warm neutral walls. On a bright cool-white wall the cream may read slightly yellow. A black frame helps the print hold its own on any wall colour.

Is this better as a single print or part of a travel set?

It holds a wall on its own above a desk or console, but it also works well in a pair or trio with other city prints in the same graphic style. Keep companion prints in similar cream, black and warm brown tones so the set reads as one collection.
