How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this look too small on a kitchen wall above a counter?
It depends on the stretch of wall. Above a short counter or a small side table it sits beautifully at the small size. On a long run of wall behind a hob, go up a size or hang it as a pair with a second small food study, otherwise it can look a bit lost.
Is the background a true white or more of a cream?
It's a warm off-white with a slight beige cast, not a bright paper white. That's why it sits so well against plaster walls, oak and linen. If your walls are a crisp cool white, the print will read slightly warmer than the wall — usually a good thing.
Does the illustration have a lot of fine detail or is it quite loose?
It's loose and hand-drawn, with visible pen hatching under the table and soft watercolour washes on the fruit. You can see the artist's hand. If you prefer crisp, flat graphic illustration with clean edges, this one will feel a touch too sketchbook for you.
