Office Art Prints
4.8
An office wall sets the tone for how you work in it. Something calm and orderly behind the desk keeps a video call uncluttered, while a bolder piece opposite gives your eyes somewhere to go between tasks. Minimalist art prints suit a busy desk; abstract art prints bring colour to a plain corner; botanical art prints soften a room full of screens and cables. Start with the wall you actually look at.
I was very happy with the quality of the paper the prints were on
I was very happy with the quality of the paper the prints were on. Colors were nice & bright. The only aspect that I was not happy with, was that prints did not have an edge around them. I bought a 11x14 cause mat's opening was that size & I basically had to tape it to the mat. I've never encountered this. You should do better in this area.
The print is of great quality. But I definitely had an issue with delivery by the contracted delivery company. When I brought it to the attention ofFabAry, they responded very quickly.
Most room-by-room art guides give you mood words like "calming" for bedrooms and "energising" for kitchens, then leave you to figure out the rest. This isn't that guide. Here you'll...
Your home office probably started as pure function. A desk, a chair, maybe a lamp. Get the work done, that's it. But if you're spending hours here every day, shouldn't...
A blank wall can be intimidating. You know you want art, but where do you even start? You scroll through endless options online, walk through galleries feeling lost, or stare...
Choosing art for a workspace
Answers on placement behind a desk, size, framing choices and what works on camera
What art looks best behind me on video calls in a home office?
Choose one simple, large-scale piece with clean shapes and calm colour: soft abstracts, muted landscapes, minimal line art or a single graphic motif all read clearly on webcam. Busy patterns and fine detail turn into visual noise on camera, so size up rather than down, since art that looks fine in person often shrinks in frame. Hang it just above and slightly to one side of your shoulder, away from lamps and screens that throw glare, then check the shot from your own camera. Framed prints arrive assembled and ready to hang. Is abstract art or nature photography better for a home office wall?
Neither wins outright; match the art to the work you do. Abstract prints tend to energise and loosen up thinking, which suits creative, idea-heavy roles and reads cleanly behind you on video calls without competing for attention. Nature photography leans on biophilic principles, and research links views of natural scenes to lower stress and better mental recovery, making it a strong pick for analytic or high-pressure work and windowless rooms. Many home offices do best with both: a calming landscape in your sightline, a bolder abstract on a side wall. For a related option, explore our Abstract Art For Office.
Do vintage Audubon bird prints work in a modern office, or do they only suit traditional rooms?
They work in both. Audubon's bird plates read as graphic nature studies, so their clean white backgrounds, dramatic poses and single strong colour accents sit comfortably against minimalist desks, black metal shelving and neutral walls, not just panelled traditional studies. For a contemporary office, choose one large plate as a focal point above the desk, or a set of two to four in matching slim frames for a tidy grid. Keep frames simple in black, white or light wood, and pick birds whose colours echo something already in the room. For another take, browse our Nature Art Prints.
What size office art prints work best above a desk?
For a standard desk setup (around 120cm wide), we recommend a single 50x70cm or 70x100cm framed print centred above the monitor. This fills the wall without overwhelming the workspace. If you're working with a narrower home office nook, a pair of 30x40cm prints hung side by side gives you that polished, intentional look without crowding the space. All our framed office art prints arrive ready to hang with fixtures already attached, so you're not scrambling around for hardware on your lunch break.
Which styles actually look professional on an office wall?
For a professional office, lean towards abstract compositions, architectural photography, or muted tonal landscapes. These read as confident and considered without demanding attention during a video call or client meeting. We'd steer you away from anything too bold or novelty. Minimalist office prints in a black or natural oak frame tend to work in almost any professional setting, whether it's a corporate boardroom or a home office you share with Zoom.
Will my prints fade if my office gets a lot of natural light?
Not with ours. Our framed art prints use UV-protective acrylic glazing that prevents fading even in direct sunlight, and our museum-grade inks are rated to last hundreds of years. So if your desk is parked next to a big south-facing window, your office wall art will still look sharp years from now. It's one of those details that separates a quality print from the kind that looks washed out after six months.
I've been burned by cheap framed prints before. How is the framing quality?
We hear this constantly, and it's the number one problem in the art print world: warped frames, prints shipped separately, bubbling behind the glass. Our frames are made from solid FSC-certified wood (no MDF, no veneers), and every print is professionally fitted into its frame before it ships in one box. Thousands of shoppers rate us 5 stars, and the most common feedback is that the framing quality is even better than expected. You won't be re-doing this purchase.
How should I decorate a large blank office wall without it looking cluttered?
A single large statement print (70x100cm) is almost always the better move over a gallery wall in an office. It looks decisive and keeps the room feeling calm and focused. Pick something with a muted palette that complements your furniture, hang it at eye level (centre of the print at roughly 150cm from the floor), and you're done. If the wall is genuinely huge, like above a long credenza, a set of two or three matching prints in a horizontal row with 5-8cm spacing gives you impact without visual noise.
