How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Is the 'Cornwall — Falmouth Harbour' lettering part of the print?

Yes. The word Cornwall in coral capitals and the Falmouth Harbour script sit across the lower third of the image. They're integrated into the composition rather than added as a caption, so the print reads as a travel poster overall.

Will the warm peach sky clash with grey walls?

No — the peach is soft and muted, not bright, so it actually warms cool grey walls rather than fighting them. It works equally well on cream, off-white and pale grey. It's busier palettes (mint, cobalt, hot pink) where it would struggle.

Is this better in portrait orientation on a narrow wall or above a wider piece of furniture?

Narrow wall, every time. The lighthouse pulls the eye up the frame, so it wants vertical breathing room. Above a console in a hallway or entryway is ideal. Above a wide sofa it can feel a touch undersized unless you go large.
