How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the print read as Cornwall or could it be anywhere?

The word Cornwall sits at the top of the print and England underneath it in script, so it reads clearly as a Cornish scene. The cathedral on the hill and the steep cobbled street nod to towns like Truro, but it's a composite rather than a literal view.

Will the peach and terracotta clash with cool grey or blue walls?

It actually does well on cool walls — the warm peach and terracotta sit against soft blue in the print itself, so a pale blue or grey wall picks up the sky rather than fights the houses. Avoid hanging it on a deep navy or charcoal wall where the brightness gets swallowed.

Is it better in portrait spaces like a hallway, or could it work in a kitchen?

Both work. The portrait shape suits a hallway between doors or above a console, but it also sits well on a short wall between kitchen cabinets or above a small breakfast nook. It needs a bit of pale wall around it to breathe.
