How do I frame an art print?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the cat's face fill the whole print, or is there a lot of white space?

Only the top portion of the cat shows — head, ears and golden eyes peeking down from the top edge. The bottom two-thirds is open white background. The empty space is part of the joke, so the print needs a bit of breathing room around it to read properly.

Will this look too childish in a grown-up living room?

It's playful but not cartoonish. The illustration style is clean and modern, the palette is essentially black and white, and the humour is dry rather than cutesy. Framed in slim black and given space on the wall, it sits comfortably in adult spaces — hallways, studies and kitchens especially.

What size works best in a narrow hallway?
