How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the bright yellow feel too much in a small kitchen?

It's a confident yellow, but the deep green leaves balance it and stop it tipping into nursery territory. In a small kitchen it lifts the whole room rather than shrinking it, especially against off-white or pale oak. If your walls are already strong colour, choose a quieter spot like a breakfast nook.

Does the disco ball read as a lemon or as a disco ball?

Both, on purpose. Up close it's clearly a mirrored ball — you can see the tiles and the warm orange flecks. From across the room it reads as a glowing lemon on the branch. That double-take is the whole point of the piece.

Will it work somewhere other than a kitchen?

Yes. It suits dining rooms, breakfast nooks, and entryways that need waking up. It's less suited to bedrooms, studies or quiet living rooms, where the yellow can feel loud after a while. Best in rooms you pass through or eat in, not rooms you wind down in.
