About This Art

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the artwork brightly coloured or fairly muted?

Brightly coloured. The greens are deep and saturated, the orange flowers are a real punch of warm colour, and the pale path keeps the whole thing from feeling heavy. It's a bold piece — best in a room that can take a clear hit of colour rather than one that needs to stay quiet.

Will the title text 'NATIONAL BOTANIC GARDENS' show clearly at smaller sizes?

At large sizes the lettering reads cleanly across a room. At smaller sizes it stays legible up close but reads more as a design element from a distance. If the wording matters to you — for a Dublin connection or a gift — size up rather than down.

Does it need a sunny room, or will it work in a darker hallway?

It works in both, but differently. In daylight the greens and oranges sing. In a darker hallway it becomes a warm, plant-filled window — the pale path glows against the darker walls. Avoid very cool grey light, which can flatten the orange.
