How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the orange line clash with a warm-toned kitchen?

The orange is bright and tomato-leaning, so it sits well with oak, terracotta, brass and warm whites. It can fight a kitchen built around pink, burgundy or deep red — in that case the print works better in a hallway, pantry or dining nook instead.

Is the text readable from across a room?

Yes — the word 'food' and the closing line 'don't waste it' are large and bold, readable from several metres away. The six numbered rules are smaller and meant to be read close-up, so hang it where people pause: above a counter, sideboard or breakfast nook.

Does this only suit modern kitchens?

No. The type is modern but the message is old-school and practical, so it sits comfortably in farmhouse, Scandinavian, transitional and country kitchens too. It's the surroundings — oak, stoneware, linen, open shelving — that set the tone, not the print itself.
