How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the orange feel too bright on a warm beige wall?

The orange is softened by the warm sand background already in the print, so it lands more sun-baked than neon. On a warm beige or chalky off-white wall it reads as a friendly accent rather than a shock. If your walls are cool grey or stark white, the warmth will feel stronger — that's usually a good thing.

Does it work on its own or do I need to pair it?

It's built to work solo. The tall shape and clear flower head do the job of a small gallery wall on their own. If you want company, pair it with one or two quieter abstract shapes in warm sand or soft blue — and keep them smaller so this one stays the hero.

What size should I go for above a standard sofa?

Go larger than feels safe. Above a three-seater sofa, aim for a piece that covers roughly two thirds of the sofa width, hung so the centre lands around eye level when standing. The loose shapes need room to breathe — too small and the wall ends up looking patchy.
