About This Art

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this overwhelm a small kitchen?

Not at medium size. The colour is loud but the composition is contained inside a cream border, so it reads as one focal piece rather than wallpaper. Keep the surrounding wall plain and the worktop tidy below it, and it will lift a small kitchen without taking it over.

Does it work somewhere other than a kitchen?

Yes. It suits any room that wants a graphic splash of colour against neutral walls — a dining nook, a creative study, a hallway with a console, or a cheerful home office. It is less suited to bedrooms and calm sitting rooms, where the red and orange can feel too active.

What wall colour suits it best?

Soft cream, warm white and pale plaster work best because they echo the cream ground in the print and let the red, green and orange shapes read clearly. Mid-tone grey or strong colour walls can fight the print. Keep the wall quiet and let the artwork do the work.
