How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Is the Empire State Building clearly the focal point?

Yes. It sits dead-centre on the vanishing point of the avenue, lit pale against the dark navy sky, with the full moon directly above. The surrounding skyscrapers frame it on both sides, so the eye lands on the tower first and then travels down the street.

Will the dark navy sky feel heavy in a small room?

It can if the wall around it is also dark. In a small room, hang it on a lighter wall — off-white, plaster, soft warm grey — and let lamplight do the work in the evening. On a deep navy or charcoal wall it reads more like a mural, which suits hallways better than tight living rooms.

Does the 'NEW YORK CITY' text show on the print?

Yes, the words 'NEW YORK CITY' sit in a deep navy band across the bottom in cream capitals, like a classic travel poster. If you want the typography to be a feature, frame with a slim mount; if you want the skyline to dominate, hang it close-cropped in a flush frame.
