How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will the bright colours overwhelm a small living room?

Not if you give it space. The shapes are bold but the composition is ordered, so on a plain pale wall it reads as one confident piece rather than visual noise. Keep nearby surfaces calm — neutral cushions, plain lampshades — and let the print do the colour work on its own.

Does the print work in a child's room without feeling too babyish?

Yes. The cut-paper style is playful but the cityscape subject and graphic shapes feel grown-up enough to stay in the room as the child gets older. It pairs better with simple wooden furniture than with cartoon decals or themed bedding.

Is the orientation tall enough to hang in a narrow space between two windows?

It's a portrait composition with strong vertical skyscrapers, so it suits a narrower wall well. Just make sure the wall is at least a little wider than the print so the colour blocks have a small margin of plain wall on either side.
