How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the navy linework still read on an off-white wall?

Yes. The navy is deep enough to hold contrast against most off-white, cream or pale grey painted walls, and the deep red lettering gives a second focal point. If your wall is a very warm cream, a black frame keeps the navy crisp; on a cooler white, an oak frame softens it.

Is the lyric too on-the-nose for a living room?

It depends how subtle you want to be. The phrase reads as a quiet travel-poster line first, and the folklore reference second, so it tends to land softly. If you want it less personal, hang it in a study, reading corner or bedroom rather than the main living wall.

What size works above a standard double bed?

A medium portrait size sits comfortably above a standard double or king, centred over the headboard. Leave a hand's width of wall between the top of the headboard and the bottom of the frame, and keep the bedside lamps lower so the print stays the focal point.
