How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the bright red lantern post clash with a warm-toned room?

The red is soft and slightly coral rather than tomato red, so it sits comfortably alongside terracotta, rust and warm browns. It will fight a deep cherry-red or burnt-orange wall, but it works well with warm neutrals, oak, walnut and clay tones.

Is this print better hung vertically beside a bed, or above a console?

Both work. Above an oak or walnut console in a hallway, it acts as a clear anchor. Beside a bed, hang it on one side rather than centred above — the off-centre lantern reads better with the bed as the room's main horizontal.

Does the flat cut-paper style still feel rich enough as a single statement, or does it need companions?

It holds a wall on its own. The deep green trunks give it visual weight, and the single red vertical stops it feeling thin. If you do want companions, keep them quiet — small botanicals or another flat-colour landscape, not another statement piece.
